Quiet Reading Party In-Person
Escape the heat and cool off at the library during our Silent Reading Party. When the temperatures rise, there’s no better place to relax than in our comfortable, air-conditioned space. We’ll begin with a brief opportunity to share what you’re reading and pick up new book recommendations from fellow readers. Then, settle in for uninterrupted silent reading in a calm, cool environment—the perfect way to recharge and enjoy a little quiet time out of the sun. Cold beverages and light refreshments will be provided. All readers and all genres are welcome—just bring a book and enjoy the cool, peaceful atmosphere. Feel free to bring your comfy chair or favorite cozy reading accessories. You’re welcome to stay for the entire event or drop in for just part of the time—whatever works best for you!
