Ceramics for Teens

Ceramics for Teens In-Person

Connor Costanzo, ceramics specialist from The Fine Arts Association, will lead a workshop in which teens will use terra-cotta clay to create a decorative ceramic bowl. Connor will show participants how to use a coiling method to shape and size the clay and form a unique design. Following the workshop, bowls will be fired at The Fine Arts Association and returned to the library for pickup. Attendees may use paint materials available at the library to decorate their fired pieces or take them home to paint. Limited to 14 registrants. Open to grades 6-12 (ages 12-18).
