Teen Homeschool - Wednesdays In-Person
Beekeeping expert Jude Kraus will describe her experiences caring for bee colonies, including building and maintaining hives. A beekeeper’s duties include forcing bees from hives using a smoke pot to inspect hives and retrieve honey. A member of the Lake County Beekeepers Group, she contributes to local efforts to protect pollinators essential to ecosystem health. Jude serves as an instructor for the Lake County Extension of Ohio State University. Open to grades 6-12 (ages 12-18).
